3. Processing personal data
Personal data is processed for mentioned purposes only. Your personal data is not transferred to third parties, with exception for those applications mentioned in this data protection declaration or binding national law.

On our website we offer you the opportunity to contact us, either by e-mail and/or by using a contact form.

In the event of contact via e-mail or telephone, information provided by you (name, address, telephone number, e-mail address) is stored for the purpose of facilitating communications with the user.

There are some personal information we need to know about you in order to offer our service to you. For example, your name, your address, your phone number and your e-mail, i.e. nec-essary identification and contact information. b) Contact via our website
On our website we offer you the opportunity to contact us by contact form. In such event, in-formation provided by you (name, address, e-mail address, country and other information provided) is stored for the purpose of facilitating communications with the user.

Purpose of the process is the handling of your request.

c) Job application
Personal data, which is provided in connection with a job application, will be kept confiden-tial. These data will be used only for the execution of the application process. Purpose of the data processing is the processing of your application.

Your personal data is stored as long as it is necessary for the application process.

For the application process following information is relevant:

Name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, work experience and other information relevant for the desired position.

You are able to provide individual application documents (such as CV, cover letter, letter of motivation, credentials and photo). The specified information and provided documents are recorded and stored for as long as it is necessary for the application process.

Your data can only be viewed and processed by the responsible personnel of the personnel department as well as by the responsible employees of the tendering department.

With an unsolicited job application, you provide us with your personal data for the purpose of finding a suitable job. Your data can then be viewed by the personnel departments of BWT and by the employees involved in the application process to check your profile for suitable job offers.

Your answers and information provided during the application process will be generally stored with your name up to two years after the application process has been completed. This with the discrimination act as a legal ground.

We use technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. The trans-mission of your data on the Internet is encrypted. Our security measures are regularly re-viewed and revised in line with technological developments.

4. Legal basis
Data procession is based on EU 2016:679, GDPR Art 6 (1) lit a, b, c and f GPDR. If the pro-cessing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, the processing is based on Article 6(1) lit. b GDPR. If our company is subject to a legal obligation by which processing of personal data is required, such as the fulfillment of tax obliga-tions, the processing is based on Art. 6(1) lit. c GDPR. Finally, processing operations could be based on Article 6(1) lit. f GDPR.


5. Storage period
The criteria used to determine the period of storage of personal data is the respective statutory re-tention period. After expiration of that period, the corresponding data is routinely deleted, as long as it is no longer necessary for the fulfillment of the contract or the initiation of a contract.

6. Rights of the data subject
You may at any time object to the use of your personal data with future effect, arrange a partial or complete deletion or blocking or request information about the personal data stored by us or re-quest its rectification. In case a complete deletion is only possible at a later time because of legal or economic reasons, the data is going to be blocked. Our company is going to inform you im-mediately if a personal data breach occurred, such as the breach includes a high level of risk for your rights and freedom. You have the right to appeal to the national data protection commission.

7. Cookies
Many internet sites and servers use cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cook-ie ID is a unique identifier of the cookie. The provider of this website uses the services of etracker GmbH, Hamburg, Germany https://www.etracker.com to analyse usage data. Here, cookies are used which enable the sta-tistical analysis of the use of this website by its visitors as well as the display of usage-relevant content or advertising. Cookies are small text files that are stored by the Internet browser on the user's device. etracker cookies do not contain any information that could identify a user.

The data generated with etracker is processed and stored by etracker solely in Germany by commission of the provider of this website and is thus subject to strict German and European data protection laws and standards.
